Today I am finally linking into Maxabella’s Blog Hop, I’m grateful for…
For me I’m grateful for the weekend. Even though the munchkins get up the same time every morning, I love how the foot is off the pedal a little and I have another pair of hands to help me around the place. I am also grateful hubby doesn’t have to work Saturday or Sundays.
The weather was glorious today in old Melbourne town. It was sunny with a very slight breeze. The doors and windows opened up, the washing dried and we enjoyed a walk to the local shopping centre and park. The boys got to play backyard cricket. I can’t remember the last time we had a Saturday where we didn’t have to be anywhere. It was great!

Back yard cricket – fond memories . I must get my boys into it I loved it as a kid.
It was lovely in Sydney too …after 3 stinking hot days at the farm I was more than grateful too.

We are trying to have lots and lots of Saturdays where we don’t have to be anywhere. At least until the soccer season starts!!

I have the loved the entire school holidays for that very reason. I am quite sad to see them ending. Wishing your son a wonderful start to the his school career.
