Smiths Chips Review and Giveaway

Mmmm…chippies

I am not sure I have met one person that does not like chips. They are a party and BBQ food staple but unfortunately that great taste usually comes with a high fat content.

Not anymore! Smiths Chips have now switched to cooking their chips in sunflower oil and as a result they are 75% less saturated fat! What is even more fantastic is that Porter Novelli on behalf of The Smiths Snackfood Company sent me some to try out and there is no taste difference at all. I did eat Smiths Chips before hand as yes there is no gluten in the blue packet plain variety, so I know what they previously tasted like.

The rest of my family can eat gluten so they tried BBQ and Salt and Vinegar varieties and declared them just as delicious.

You can get Smiths Chips anywhere. Supermarkets, milkbars, liqour shops, petrol stations, vending machines – you get the drift so you can try them any chance you get.

Or one of my lucky readers can try a box of different varieties for free(as pictured)! Just leave a comment below for a chance to win.

75% less Saturated Fat, but has the total fat content gone down? Great for the occassional snack (or party food), but still not a brilliantly healthy option.
