It has been a flurry of activity here this past week, we’ve been out at some point every day – even yesterday’s yucky temperature day of 41 degrees. Yuck. So here are a few photos to share today.
Forgot to share this with you last week – over Christmas I made a discovery… Cherry Coke Zero in Australia! Yippee! This is one of my favourite treats and loved being able to have it when in the States last year. I have seen it in Coles and Woolies and it’s a Limited Edition so get some if you want to!
Popped into Target and found a Christmas aisle with marked down goodies. The above Santa Train was filled with a huge bag of marshmallows which were gluten free, got that for $2.88. The Santa is very cute and I plan on re using him every year and he was $1.88.
We also went to Ikea – love going there.
I love the look of this displayed ‘living room’
and the matching ‘kitchen’. Just gorgeous!
I also love that I can have a coffee for free as I am an Ikea Family member. Anyone can join!
Our dishwasher blew up during the week, so annoying! The upside is Little Man (who is 7) is happy to wash the dishes… wonder how long that will last for.
I also got myself a Post Box… well it’s exciting for me.
Love the colours of fresh fruit and veg
If you house is like ours, we have usb drives all over the place. I wanted to think of a way to ‘name’ them so one, we knew who’s it was and two, we knew what was on it. I had seen washi tape on other items all over pinterest so I thought maybe washi tape would work… and it does! Just write on it with a pen (I used a fine point permanent marker but I am sure a pen would work?) You can get washi tape from stationary/crafty stores. (saw some in Typo and Big W)
and to finish the week… look what I spotted at Woolworths! Bags of Miniature Reese’s and Hershey’s – yum! This bag was $3.98.
Thanks for reading, hope you’ve had a great week.

I love the sales after Christmas & other events. You can pick up stuff for next to nothing sometimes.
I admit I am always keeping my eyes peeled for such bargains, hope you got some good bargains yourself.
Sounds like a fun (and successful) week. We had lunch at IKEA the other day and I thought of you when Amy & I shared the most amazing gluten free dessert
.
Aw that is lovely to hear, I hope I hear about it in one of your posts soon!
