The is a new gluten free bread buzz around town. I had noticed it and was planning to check it out at some stage until Lifestyle Bakery contacted me first and asked if I would like to try their new soft ‘n’ light bread. I said sure thing so they sent me 4 loaves to try.
Soft and light. It’s a big claim right? Especially for gluten free bread. Weel I think they’ve done it. Lifestyle Bakery have managed to make gluten free bread soft and light. Without losing the taste. Taste is just as important and I have tried all 4 varieties and they all taste good to me.
The 4 varieties are:
- Chia & Quinoa
- Fruit
- Soy and Linseed
- White
There is egg and soy in them so no good for people that have those allergies.
I made fresh sandwiches as well as toasted ones and they all were yummy, I shared with my boys and they enjoyed them too. I was able to freeze them, tip for this is to separate the slices and place them back in the bag, I find them easier to prise apart when frozen.
You can get Lifestyle Bakery’s Soft ‘n’ Light Bread online as well as most IGA’s. You can use their retailer locator to find where the closet retailer to you is. The price on the website is $6.49 a loaf which is the same than most breads that size. I wish we could get them
For interests sake I previously reviewed their products way back in 2011 here.
Have you found any good gluten free products lately?
Disclosure: Lifestyle Bakery sent me their bread to try, I was not paid for this review, all opinions are my own.

I will have to try my local IGA. I haven’t seen this one. I think we have tried everything else around though. Still looking for the perfect bread.
Good luck in finding the bread, it is worth a try
