Gluten Free Expos/Shows Around Australia 2012
I love a good gluten free expo. I have ever only gone to Melbourne ones but from what I hear, the other ones around Australia are just as good.
This year however, things have changed a little. Here is a list of the expos as they stand at the moment.
Brisbane
The Gluten Free Food Expo – Friday (evening only) 11th May 2012 – Saturday 12th May 2012 at the The Commerce Buildings RNA Showgrounds Brisbane. $10 per adult, concessions available
Good Food and Wine Show (yes the former Irresistible Gluten Free Show is now part of this show) – 9th – 11th November 2012 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
Sydney
Good Food and Wine Show – 22nd – 24th June 2012 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre
Gluten Free Expo – Friday 24th August 2012 (evening only) and Saturday 25th August 2012 at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park – entry is free
Melbourne
Good Food and Wine Show (Irresistible Gluten Free Expo has been incorporated into this), 1st – 3rd June 2012 at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre, Melbourne
Gluten Free Expo Victoria-Tasmania – Saturday 15th September 2012 at the Caulfield Racecourse Melbourne, $10 per adult (um, one day only and it costs to get in? Sydney is free and has 1 1/2 days?)
Perth
Gluten Free and Healthy Living Expo – 17th and 18th March 2012 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre, Perth. $15 per adult, concessions available
Have you heard of any others? Are you going to go?

Weekly Menu Plan with Gluten Free Meal Ideas
Wowsers, we had a very big weekend, with my son turning 7. While I still get used to the fact that I am now the mother of a 7 year old, I’ll share this weeks meal ideas.
Weekly Menu Plan
Monday – Bangers and Mash (need simple comfort food badly) with lots of steamed veg.
Tuesday – Tuna Risotto with home made wedges
Wednesday – Lentil Shepherd Pie – so hearty and filling, easily gluten free
Thursday – Gluten Free Fettuccine Carbonara
Friday – Gluten Free Baked Chicken with Tomato Sauce - scroll down for the recipe
Saturday – Mediterranean Tuna and Rice Pie – the rice is the base so easily gluten free – just use gluten free stock
Sunday – Simple Supper Night
Linking up with Org Junkie and Menu Plan Monday.
Have a great week everyone!
